The World Cup is old news. The summer Olympics are rife with controversy. What’s a fashionable spectator to do? Follow the America’s Cup, the oldest sporting trophy. Landlocked Switzerland won the cup last year and now the race is on to see who will compete against the Alinghi. That will be determined by a series of preliminary races known as the Louis Vuitton Cup. And with the Luna Rossa (owned by Muccia Prada) as one of the 11 challengers, you know it’s bound to be the best dressed sport around.
